Last train to Walton

Fun in the sun today at Walton on the Naze for engineers Simon and Ian, a broken drive plate on a Perkins HT6.354 with a Borg Warner gearbox needed serious attention.
The gearbox had zero oil pressure due to the input shaft not being driven so our boat owner was going nowhere fast.

A new drive plate had already been sourced and made to order so
the only thing needed were three very strong people to lift the 70Kg gearbox several metres. Safely ashore the new drive plate could be securely fitted.
We are happy to report the engine and gearbox are now running smoothly :)
