Simon is in Kent today, looking at twin, Yanmar Hybrid 6LY400CR engines, onboard a pilot vessel.
These have been coupled up to a trans fluid power system, which allows the electric drive, to cut to diesel when required.
The customer was experiencing panel display issues, which were dealt with by a laptop plug, this thankfully cleared the offending codes.
