The Safelink R10 SRS is a revolutionary personal safety aid designed to be mounted on a life jacket using the attachment clips provided. It can be manually activated or can be semi-automatic if professionally fitted to certain types of gas inflation life jackets.
The built in AIS (Automatic Identification System) transmits target survival information including GPS information and serialised identity number back to an AIS enable onboard chart plotter to track location, distance and bearing of a missing crew member. The SafeLink R10 can also be viewed on ships AIS equipment such as class A and B transponders and a wide variety of receive only AIS units and VTS equipped land based stations in the local vicinity.
