This is our work experience student Alex who is 15, he’s from a secondary school nearby and comes already equipped with exactly the right kind of attitude, enthusiasm and 3D inclined mind that creates top notch engineers.
The Walton-on-the-Naze team have been showing him the ropes and will be teaching him all things marine engineering for the rest of this week.
Today he has been learning how to disconnect and remove an Alpha One Sterndrive for inspection, amongst other things.
He seems easily able to pick up the myriad of skills required and once built upon they will lay the foundations of a very sturdy bed of engineering knowledge.
