There’s a leak in my rear, complained our customer, referring to his Volvo Penta V6 petrol engine (AQ205).
Simon avidly watched the engine as it idled but nothing noticeable seemed awry.
Once the engine was running at a higher speed however, it became clear the flexible rubber exhaust joint had perished on the inside, causing numerous fissures. The unhealthy joint was replaced and the irksome leaking ceased.
