French Marine Motors journeyed up to Lowestoft in Suffolk this week to diagnose electrical issues with a Volvo Penta D9 engine onboard a Sealine 50.
Simon reported that it looked like the alternator overcharged and blew out a main power relay. Simon temporarily fixed it to enable the customer to continue homeward until the correct part can be acquired and a permanent solution achieved.
