The Harwich Harbour Foot Ferry is a much loved working vessel moored alongside the historic Ha’penny Pier in Harwich old town on the east coast.
Tourists and locals alike rely on the foot ferry in the warmer months to transport them to Felixstowe and Shotley for sightseeing and business trips.
Our boys in Levington are carrying out routine work including a repaint which will keep the boat in tip top condition for next years season.
As the various paint colours are stripped back they reveal a mesmerising mottled rainbow. It’s almost a shame to paint over it and hide the vessels colorful history.
