A VETUS electro-hydraulic pump (EHP) consists of a reversible electric motor, an oil pump, built-in pressure relief valves and a small reservoir for the hydraulic oil. Models EHPD and EHPE feature a gear type pump with integrated non-return valves and a by-pass valve. The direction of rotation of the pump is electrically controlled.
A VETUS EHP is a truly versatile piece of equipment. It can be used with “non Follow-Up” steering systems, with joy stick control and/or electric remote control with “Follow-Up” steering systems, hatch lifters, collapsible swimming platforms etc. etc.
